Alderney's aviation history will no doubt be documented fantastically on this site, designed to be built up gradually and to supplement A History of Aviation in Alderney. It is currently under construction and is run by Warwick Bayman, along with several other pilots from Aurigny Air Services (who also deserve thanks for their publicising of the book).

Channel Islands aviation is covered here in this recently relaunched site, with a daily movement log at Guernsey spanning the previous decade and a similar system on Jersey for nearly as long.

BBC Guernsey, BBC Jersey, the Alderney Journal, the Alderney Press, Aeroplane Monthly and the Guernsey Press and Star were very helpful in publicising my first book.

Channel Islands Air Search was founded in 1980 and is a charity which provides quick reaction search ability using a modified Britten-Norman Islander. It really are the lifeboats' eyes in the sky, and 50% of proceeds from A History of Aviation in Alderney is donated to this worthy cause.

The Bookshop, Alderney - the only bookshop on this tiny island and a staggeringly good one. If you can, do buy from here or indeed any independent bookshop rather than from the giant online retailers.

Parkat airport parking is a new facility to allow people to park at airports for cheaper than they were able to previously. Bemused as I was when they kindly offered to promote me, the deal was taken up with gratitude and their prices are generally rather favourable.

Mars Cricket is a new cricket equipment company run by Marwan Mohammad (in my year at Charterhouse and plays for Middlesex). The company provides top quality gear at affordable prices, and is nothing less than a feat of entrepreneurship. A charity range of equipment (where proceeds will go to good causes) will be available soon.
